Bathed by the light of Sardinia since his birth, Walter Boï is very early passionate of paintings, photography and cinema.
Of a teaching mother in history of art and a father architect, he knows the importance which hold the artistic forms in history.
Literary person, polyglot, he graduates of the Istituto Europeo di Design after one year spent at the University in political studies in Cagliari.
Once his diploma obtained, Walter leaves Italy and specializes in fashion photography by multiplying experiences in France, the United States and by travelling the world.
These numerous experiences with professionals of the fashion industry give Walter the possibility of pursuing his photography career by working for renowned magazines such as l’Uomo Vogue, Double, Vogue Italia, Stiletto, WWD (Japan), Numero (Japan), Marie Claire, Elle and Vogue Brasil. He also realizes numerous portraits of musicians, designers, actors, directors and fashion icons such as Naomi Campbell, Angela Missoni, Vincent Gallo, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Vincent Cassel, Kezia Jones to name a few.
Walter also collaborates with artists and galleries of contemporary art, under diverse artistic forms such as art videos and live performances.
Renewing constantly his practice, Walter produces still and moving images for luxury brands such as Giorgio Armani, Blumarine, Sessun, Hogan, in diverse formats to be displayed in the new medias.
