Walter was born in sardinia, Italy.
Always passionate for photography,
painting and cinema,
before beginning his professional career,
he practiced photography shooting stage actors and dancers
in his hometown Cagliari.
After his high-school degree in languages
and one year at university in political science,
he studied photography at the IED,

In 1996 Walter started travelling and assisting various photographers
in Paris and New York.
His carreer as a photographer took place in Paris
with the assignement of a photoshooting to
french actor Vincent Cassel.
Photographs of Walter have been published in Italy,
France, Brasil, Uk, Spain and Japan
in the international editions of magazines
such as Vogue, Elle, Numerņ, Stiletto and Marie Claire.
